EA Cans Tiberium For Not Meeting Expectations

|

A few months ago, it was said that EA's Command-and-Conquer shooter,
Tiberium, would be pushed back to 2010. Today, it has been confirmed that the game has now been scrapped by EA. Kotaku actually received the staff memo given to the people working on the game that explained why the project was being shut down. In summary, it stated that EA was trying to raise the bar when it came to quality.
I believe that Tiberium wasn't becoming the type of quality game that EA is used to pumping out to its consumers. For the full article and staff memo explaining the reasons behind the cancellation of the game, head over to Kotaku.

What he said: I believe that Tiberium wasn't becoming the type of quality game that EA is used to pumping out to its consumers

What he meant: It's not recycled garbage that we can exploit.

What he really means: With a name like that, it must suck!
