Epic games will not be porting Gears of War to the PC. It's "definitely" not happening, swears designer Cliff Bleszinski, pointing to a worsening PC gaming environment. "The person who is savvy enough to want to have a good PC to upgrade their video card, is a person who is savvy enough to know [BitTorrent] all the elements so they can pirate software," says Bleszinski. This is just the perfect example of whats happening to PC gaming due to pirating. If the DRM is too harsh like in Spore people complain and then pirate, but if theres none AT ALL they'll pirate anyway.... You can't win.
